Happy Holidays from Aspen! I wanted to personally reach out to fellow Texans who also share an affinity with dodging the Texas heat and catching some fresh mountain air!
My name is Hank Carter and I am a real estate professional with Compass in Aspen. I grew up in Austin, TX and attended Westlake High School and then on to University of Texas- Austin for college. I was raised on Lake Austin and was a nationally ranked wakeboarder. My father, Shelby Carter, was a distinguished orthopedic surgeon in Austin, and my mother, Beth, is an active realtor and top producer with Compass Austin.
I moved to Aspen in 2012 and have absolutely immersed myself in the community here. My wife is the marketing director at Aspen Valley Ski Club, a local nonprofit, and it is fair to say that we are Aspen “lifers” . We love the mountains, community and lifestyle the Roaring Fork Valley provides. One of my biggest pleasures is having the chance to connect with others from the Great State of Texas who also love the mountains and the Roaring Fork Valley.
If I can ever be a resource for you in the Roaring Fork Valley, real estate or otherwise ,please let me know! We have you covered!
We all know, everything is better and bigger in Texas, including my desire to help others. That hasn’t changed since moving to Aspen :)
Before the Lone Star State was born, it was an independent sovereign country known as the Republic of Texas. The republic declared independence from the Republic of Mexico on March 2, 1836 and existed until February 19, 1846. The boundaries of the country reached far north into states known today as Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming and westward into New Mexico. While the boundaries of the republic have ceased to exist for nearly two centuries, Texas pride is still very much alive and well here in the Rocky Mountains!
If you'd like a T-Shirt with the Ski Texas graphic on the back, or a bigger sized poster print, please email me your size and we will ship to you- Happy Holidays!
